DAY 01:NAIROBI

Met on arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi and transferred to the Norfolk Hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure or choose from a selection of optional excursions (book and pay locally). Overnight at the Norfolk Hotel or similar on bed and breakfast basis.

DAY 02:SWEETWATERS/OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY

This morning we depart Nairobi and proceed north, driving through lush tea and coffee estates to Sweetwaters Tented Camp. Sweetwaters land, the OlPejeta Conservancy and its sumptuous ranch were once the private domain of famed multi-millionaire, Adnan Kashoggi. We visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary, a charming haven established by the Jane Goodall Institute to provide sanctuary to orphaned chimps, and the specially protected and fenced refuge of black rhino with its stunning forty specimens!
In fact Sweetwaters boasts excellent game viewing with the highest ratio of game to area of any park or reserve in Kenya. Moreover, the camp has its own private waterhole and salt lick so we'll be guaranteed unprecedented close encounters. Whether its day or night game drives, camel trekking, lion tracking, al fresco dining or relaxing by pool, Sweetwaters is bound to delight. DAY 03: SAMBURU

After.breakfast return to the Aberdare Country Club to collect left luggage and continue further north to the semi-arid and rugged landscape of Samburu National Reserve (220 kms). After lunch proceed on a late afternoon game-drive. Dinner and overnight at the Ashnil Samburu Camp or similar.

DAY 04:SAMBURU

Early morning and late afternoon game-drives enable you to see wildlife unique to this arid yet beautiful part of Kenya. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight at the Ashnil Samburu Camp or similar.

DAY 05: MOUNT KENYA

After breakfast drive to the slopes of Mount Kenya arriving in time for lunch (170 kms). Rest of the afternoon is at leisure to enjoy the clubs various facilities. Dinner and overnight at the Mount Kenya Safari Club or similar.NB dress code at the Mount Kenya Safari Club is smart casual. Children are not allowed in the dinning area after 1900 hrs.

DAY 06: MASAI MARA

After breakfast transfer to the nearby Nanyuki airstrip for a scheduled flight by light aircraft (maximum baggage allowance 15 kgs) to the Masai Mara Game Reserve (approximately  1H hr).On arrival at the airstrip met and transferred to the Mara Safari Club or similar for lunch. In the afternoon proceed on a game-drive through one of the worlds greatest game reserves. Dinner and overnight at the Mara Safari Club or similar. NB game-drives in the Mara are conducted by the resident driver/guides in the camps own 4X4WD vehicles and a window seat cannot be guaranteed.

DAY 07: MASAI MARA

An early morning balloon safari over the Mara followed by a bubbly bush breakfast (optional extra) or take an early morning game-drive followed by breakfast at the camp. Rest of the morning at leisure at the camp. After lunch proceed on a late afternoon game-drive. Dinner and overnight at the Mara Safari Club or similar.

DAY 08: DEPART

After breakfast transfer to the airstrip for a scheduled flight by light aircraft (maximum baggage allowance 15 kgs.) to Nairobi (approximately 45 minutes).Met on arrival at the airport before proceeding with your chosen extension or return home.
